New(er) ...

Thought I'd introduce myself again because I haven't posted in quite some time.
I am Amanda, I am a 22 year old from Red Deer, Alberta Canada. I have been in the towing industry for just about 3 years now. I first got hooked on towing from the tv show Wrecked, which then lead me to find my boyfriend who taught me a lot of what I know today. Over the years I have made so many friends in the industry from all over the world who have impacted my life, as well as my outlook on the industry.
I was a tow operator for about 5 months, loved every minute of it, but left the company due to problems with my boss. I have been trying to get a towing job ever since, but no such luck.
I co-own and run a mechanics/heavy duty equipment company with my family. I am a P/T Heavy Duty Tech, as well as a driver. We own numerous pieces of heavy equipment.
I am also the owner of the website and facebook page Respect Tow Truck Operators, as well as Women of the Towing Industry and Slow Down, Move Over for Emergency Vehicles.
I try to help bring awareness to the Towing Industry the best I can, and I am still learning a lot Very Happy
