New here too, from CA

I'm out in the smog filled valley in central CA. Rather be in Oregon where I'm originally from. It's my hobby to up the power on engines, and especially diesels. I have a how-to website many of you may already be familiar with: www.freewebs.com/nevrenufhp

Oops, forgot to add what I do.
I'm a Lineman for a public utility, and getting close to my 14th year there. Did the Napa parts guy thing before that, and the Army (63B) prior to that. I at least did recovery. With my big beast of a work truck(IH 7400 with tandems), I use the belly winch to pull out co workers when they play in the mud.
My daily driver is a 67 F100 with a built up 300. Very soon it's getting a cam, power steering, and good brakes. I was going to put a 6.6 litre Ford diesel in it, but decided not to. I need to spend research time and money into making the full DT466E package. It takes a regular 96-06 466E and turns it into a 300-450hp monster.

Glad to have you here too, lord knows I need help keeping trucks working. BTW the EGR delete on my TCM is still working like a charm. Great highway mileage!
