pictures bigger? Empty pictures bigger?

how do I make my posting pictures bigger? they are only showing up as thumbnails?? I am using the host an image button but am doing something wrong.

Have you tried using photobucket? How large are the files to begin with? When I click on them it takes me to a larger version, so it sort of works.
